NVQ Level 2/3 in Business Improvement Techniques (BIT)

The Business Improvement Techniques (BIT) qualification is designed to improve your business performance as a whole. BIT recognises there is always room for improvement at work and provides a range of new tools to help identify what needs improving and how to improve it. BIT will get employees involved in improving business efficiency and increase their skills and knowledge at the same time as reducing costs and waste.

Succinct Solutions use an interactive workshop training style that has been developed with the student’s requirements in mind. We take businesses and managers on a journey of learning, knowledge, examples and most importantly using the tools and techniques of their own company’s, so that they leave the training with real practical advice they can implement immediately, and start gathering the required evidence for the NVQ.

Who is the course for?

  • workers involved in business improvement within a team who wish to have their business improvement competencies assessed for certification purposes
  • new employees who have undertaken some business improvement training and are now acquiring experience within a team and wish to demonstrate their competencies for assessment purposes
  • other people involved in the business at all levels who require a fundamental understanding of business improvement practices

What does the course cover?

There are two pathways to choose from, Process or Quality. The Process improvement pathway consists of 5 mandatory units and 1 optional unit. The Quality improvement pathway consists of 4 mandatory and 2 optional units. To achieve the qualification, 20 hours underpinning knowledge is required, which will be delivered by Succinct Solutions. The programme will be delivered by an accredited trainer/assessor on site who would assist with setting clear objectives, gathering evidence and implementing and applying identified continuous improvement projects through to completion.
